The 500-Baht note has been issued in many versions over the years. The size of the bill was reduced when the 1,000-Baht note was introduced. The current version has a wide silvery holographic stripe down one edge on the front. The previous version was the same size and color, but lacks the silver stripes and some other anti-forgery features.
